A downloadable game

UrbX Warriors is an 8-bit Arcade Adventure for the Sinclair Spectrum Next computer!

UrbX Warriors has been designed by Tony Warriner (Beneath a Steel Sky and Broken Sword) and legendary pixel artist Stoo Cambridge (Sensible Soccer, Cannon Fodder).

We have drawn on all our industry experience to produce this, possibly our most challenging project to date! This is an arcade adventure game that pushes the Spectrum Next's advanced hardware to the limit paired with just one more go arcade gameplay to captivate players.

The scenario -

Urban explorers, Alejandro and Ramona begin to explore what they believe to be an as yet unexplored Mayan temple, deep within the rain forest. However, to their shock, they quickly discover that they are not alone and find themselves dragged down into the temple's deepest dungeons.

Can they evade demons, zombies and robber gangs then solve the temple's traps and puzzles to become the first to ever escape with their lives?

Schedule -

Coming soon - Spectrum Next Kickstarter !

And then -

Amiga, Dreamcast, MegaDrive and Steam versions.

Played at Crash this weekend and had the pleasure of chatting with Stoo. Really promising looking project, looking forward to the Kickstarter.

Played the ZX Next edition today. Stunning and a definite purchase (physical edition please) for me when available.  I might even go for a digital (adf) Amiga edition if that happens.  FS-UAE is my go to (don't judge me, I can't affort a real Amiga!)

Thanks for the early access fun to what will be a must have title.

Thank you! Next/PC game will be a physical copy, and .adf to follow :)

Again, I read about this project in "Stoo's Views" in the current Amiga Addict magazine!

I am very excited for this project and see 2 Amiga legends create a new game for the Amiga (and others)! Holy moly, who would have thought.

Thanks a lot, looking forward to this!

Cheers

thank you! :)
